In the Maps app, you can organize places into your own guides for easy reference. For example, you can add destinations for an upcoming vacation into a guide named Summer Road Trip or a list locations for daily errands. You can quickly get to your guides from the search card, and you can share your guides with others.
Create a guide
Open Maps and scroll down to the My Guides section. Tap New Guide, and enter a name, then tap Create and name the new guide.
Tap See All to view all guides and add and edit exiting entries.
Add a place to My Guides
Tap a location on a map or an item in a list of search results.
Tap Save to, then choose one of your guides.
Share a guide
Swipe up from the top of the search card to show My Guides, then choose a guide.
Swipe up on the guide card, tap the share icon, then choose an option.
Edit a guide
Swipe up from the top of the search card to show My Guides, then choose a guide.
Swipe up on the guide card, then tap Edit at the bottom of the screen.
Do any of the following:
Select your own cover image: Tap the camera icon, then choose a photo from your library.
Rename the guide: Tap the title.
Delete a place from the guide: Tap the place, then tap Delete at the bottom of the screen.
Add a place to another guide: Tap the place, then tap Add To at the bottom of the screen.
Change the sort order: Tap Date Added, Name, or Distance, then choose an option.
Tap X to save changes.
